Privacy Policy

bettest is run by Sanskar Prajapati, New Delhi, India. We decide how your personal data is used for your account and your tests (we are the data fiduciary or controller). This policy covers bettest.online and the test pages we build.

• Account details: your email address and, if you give it, your name.
• Your idea: what you type to the analyst, your answers, files you upload, and your chat with our team.
• Payment details: the amount, currency, status and payment ID. Card details go to Dodo Payments, never to us.
• Technical data: your IP address, browser and request logs kept by our hosting provider for security, plus a sign-in cookie.
• Proof of agreement: the version of these policies you accepted and when.

When we run a test, people who see it may leave their email, answer a question or place a refundable pre-order. We collect this on behalf of the founder whose idea is being tested and use it to measure demand. We share sign-ups with that founder so they can contact people about the product they signed up for, and only for that. If the product launches, we also share pre-order buyers' details with the founder so they can deliver it.

Test pages may use the ad platforms' measurement tools (such as the Meta pixel or Google tag) to count visits from ads. Where the law requires consent for this, the page asks first. Anyone can ask us to delete their sign-up by emailing us.

• to create your account and sign you in;
• to run the AI analyst, research your market and prepare your plan;
• to build, run and report on the tests you buy;
• to take payments, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep records the law requires;
• to email you about your account, your tests and messages from our team.

We rely on your consent (given when you agree to these policies), on the contract with you, and on our legitimate interest in keeping bettest secure. We don't sell personal data and don't use it to show you ads.

We share data only with providers that help us run bettest, and only what each one needs:

• Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage.
• Vercel: website hosting.
• Resend: sending emails.
• Dodo Payments: payments, as merchant of record.
• OpenRouter and the AI model providers it routes to (currently Xiaomi MiMo and DeepSeek): your idea and answers are sent to them to generate the analysis.
• Exa and Jina: web search and page reading. We send search queries based on your idea, not your account details.
• Ad platforms, creators and community partners: the parts of your idea needed to run your tests, which then become public.
• Contractors on our team who build your tests, under confidentiality duties.

We may also share data if the law requires it, to protect people's safety, or as part of selling or merging the business, in which case this policy keeps applying.

Our providers store and process data in several countries, including the United States, Japan, China and the EU, which may have different data laws from yours. We choose established providers and send them only what they need.

• Account, ideas, chats and reports: while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete them within 30 days.
• Payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually 8 years.
• Test page sign-ups: until the test ends and the founder has received them, then for up to 12 months unless someone asks us to delete theirs sooner.
• Security logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short period.

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. You can withdraw your consent at any time, though we then can't run the service for you. If you are in the EU or UK you can also object to our use of your data and complain to your data protection authority.

bettest.online uses only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in, plus your browser's local storage to remember settings like light or dark mode. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies on bettest.online.

Data is encrypted in transit, files are private and shared only through short-lived links, and database rules limit each founder to their own data. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

bettest is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email you or show a notice before the change applies.

Under India's Information Technology Rules and Digital Personal Data Protection Act, our grievance officer is Sanskar Prajapati, reachable at sanskarprajapati337@gmail.com. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days.
